Mr. Dinesh Advani - CEO.

Dinesh is a MBA from NUS, Singapore. He has been running the Company since 1990. During this period the company has grown from being a small diversified company to one that is focussed on the distribution of beauty products.

Mr. T. Ramesh - Manager

Ramesh is a Gold Medalist MBA from University of Chennai. Ramesh initially managed the branch in Chennai and later  moved to the Head office in Mumbai.  He currently handles all matters relating to accounts and finance.

Mr. S. Narayanankutty - Branch Manager

 Narayan was born to sell. His record as a sales executive, sales manager and now branch manager has been spectacular. He currenly heads the operations in South India. Narayan has been associated with MGS since 1956.

Mr. Unnikrishnan - Manager

 Unni not only looks after the sales but also the finance and accounts of our operations in South India. Unni has been associated with the Company since 1995.

Our Business

The MGS group of companies comprise essentially three businesses. Distribution, Contract Manufacturing and Warehousing. Distribution is a core business which is handled by all group companies.

Contract Manufacturing and Warehousing is handled by a group company M.G.Shahani & Co. (Delhi) Ltd.  We have two state of the art plants in Faridabad and Selaqui that manufacture brands like Halo, Chik and Nyle.

We do warehousing for Colgate Palmolive in Delhi, Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Morinda.  

Who We Are

MGS was founded in Karachi in 1920 as a partnership firm by Mr. M.G.Shahani, Mr. Chatursingh Advani, Mr. Lekhraj Sipahimalani, Mr. Udharam Tulsidas and Mr. Shivan Advani.

After the partition of India, the Company moved its headquarters from Karachi to Mumbai. Subsequently, 3 private companies were formed. This structure remains to date. Today the Companies are run by Mr. Ranjit Shahani (Son of  founder, M.G.Shahani) who manages the companies operations in the North and East India and Mr. Dinesh Advani (Grandson of founder, Mr. Chatursingh Advani) who manages the operations in the West and South of India.
